One way to help support your pet’s liver is by administering SAMe orally. SAMe helps boost the production of glutathione (an antioxidant)1 improving the liver’s ability to neutralize free radicals. It has also been shown to support liver cell regeneration and to help prevent further damage.2

Zentonil® Advanced also contains Silybin, the most biologically active component of a plant known as milk thistle (Silybum marianum), that has been used for centuries to support liver function. Silybin’s primary effect is thought to be as an antioxidant to help the liver fight back against free radicals.3

Depending on the nature and severity of your pet’s liver problem, your veterinarian may recommend administering SAMe alone (Zentonil® Plus) or a combination of SAMe + silybin (Zentonil® Advanced).
